Hi there. I am Chrysillis Collier, founder of Tech Casters and a Cloud Solutions Architect with 20 years in IT and deep specialization in enterprise Microsoft cloud.

Over the course of my career I have designed and deployed Azure Virtual Desktop environments for thousands of users, led large-scale migrations from on-premises and competing cloud platforms to Azure, and delivered infrastructure rearchitecture that reduced cloud operational costs by more than 80%, generating multi-million-dollar annual savings for the organizations I worked with.

My background is deep in the Microsoft stack: Azure, M365, Exchange, SharePoint, Azure DevOps, and AVD. I also work with Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub and GitLab pipelines, and Linux server infrastructure. I hold Azure (AZ-900) and CompTIA (A+, Net+, Sec+, Server+) certifications.

I founded Tech Casters to take that experience and apply it directly to focused, project-based engagements for companies that need senior-level work done without the overhead of a large consultancy: migrations, AVD deployments, infrastructure modernization, and DevOps buildouts.

What kinds of projects do you take on?
Migrations from on-premises or competing cloud platforms to Azure, Azure Virtual Desktop deployments, M365 tenant architecture and Exchange migrations, Azure infrastructure design and modernization, DevOps pipeline buildouts, and cloud cost optimization. The common thread is complex Microsoft cloud work that requires a senior architect.
What size companies do you typically work with?
Mid-size and larger organizations. Company size matters less than the scope and complexity of the project. If you have a meaningful cloud infrastructure challenge, the discovery call is the right starting point.
How is work scoped and priced?
All engagements are project-based. We agree on scope, deliverables, and pricing upfront, before any work begins. There is no ongoing retainer requirement. If you are unsure what scope looks like for your situation, the discovery call is where we work that out.
Do you work on-site or remotely?
Both. The majority of cloud infrastructure work is done remotely. For clients in Berlin, on-site is available when needed. For clients elsewhere in Germany or the EU, we handle most work remotely and can arrange on-site for specific situations.
Can you work alongside an existing internal IT team?
Yes. Many engagements involve collaborating with an existing IT team, whether I am leading a migration they will take over, bringing specialist Azure expertise to a project they are managing, or working in parallel on separate workstreams. I am comfortable in that kind of structure.
What does the discovery call cover?
It is a 60-minute conversation where we talk through your environment, the project you have in mind, timeline, and whether it is a good fit. There is no obligation to proceed. You will leave with a clearer picture of options and next steps regardless.
Can you handle large-scale migrations?
Yes. I have led migrations of 4,000+ users across cloud platforms and managed AVD environments for over 2,000 active monthly users. Scale is not a barrier. It is where this kind of work gets interesting.
Do you work exclusively with Microsoft technologies?
Primarily yes. My core expertise is Azure, M365, AVD, and the broader Microsoft stack. I also work with GitHub, GitLab, Docker, Kubernetes, and Linux servers. If your environment is mixed, get in touch and we can talk through what is feasible.
Do I need to have existing cloud infrastructure in place?
No. I work with organizations at any stage: starting from scratch, migrating from on-premises, or already in the cloud and looking to rearchitect or optimize.
Do you work in German or English?
Both. Whichever works best for you and your team is fine.
How quickly can you start a new project?
It depends on current project commitments. The discovery call is the right starting point. From there we can discuss availability and realistic timelines for getting started.
Do you sign NDAs or other agreements?
Yes. NDAs, data processing agreements, and other standard business agreements are not a problem. If you need something in place before the discovery call, let me know in advance and we can sort that out.
